Peripera Peri's Ink review

Yes, i'm finally updating my blog with something that can't be washed away even by bleach! :D Let's see how amazing is the PERIPERA Peri's Ink lip tint!



With this review i had to turn off from my "buy everything cheap" path BUT I'M TELLING YOU, this lip tint is worth every penny! One of my dearest friends let me review her tint too so i can show you two shades with one hit!!

Peripera is a Korean makeup brand, a really famous one, oh yasss! If you feel at home atkpop world you may know that the creator of these cute package illustrations also worked on the well-known 2NE1 MV "I Hate You"! This tint is only one from their amazing makeup line but it's so good that it makes me want to spend more money on this brand... what should i do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Even the names of these tints are special - which i love! These two pink shades are called (from left to right) #5 No-Spoiler and #2 Get The Eye - these names truly live up to the colours! The stickers on the containers are still on without any damage even though i got my tint 2-3 years ago and use it frequently with my oily little fingers! :D I don't know how they put these on but i don't hate anything better than a fading package desing - another point to Peripera!

I only have the box of No-Spoiler but i guess there are no huge differences in the boxes. Since the container doesn't have any writing you can check the name, ingredients and description on the box (all in Korean). 

Even though the bottom of the box says the product's warranty is 12 month long, i can ensure you that my tint is working just as fine after several years as when i first opened it! 

The applicator is really flexible but the shape of it... well... not the best. It's kinda hard to apply the product to the corners and cupid's bow of the lip because it's big and flat with rounded edges. But, on the other hand, it picks up the product really well and spread everything evenly.

Let's hop on the "try it on" train! ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

The texture of this tint is really similar to any ink. It's watery and dries super fast which sometimes gives headache - you need to act quick if you want to end up with pretty lips! :D The finish is matt and due to this, you have to moisturize your lips reaaaally heavily at the end of the day, after you washed off your makeup.

• TIP #1: to prevent dry and flaky lips, scrub your lips every week with a soft toothbrush or a 1:1 honey and sugar mixture! 

As for the colours, these two pinks are surely close friends! On top there is #2 Get The Eye and the bottom colour is #5 No-Spoiler which is a shade or two darker. Perfect summer lip-colours!╰(✧∇✧╰)

On the lips:

#2 Get The Eye is a really natural colour! Especially if we do a gradient lip makeup with it! 

While #5 No-Spoiler is a stronger colour, i recommend wearing it to night-outs or for special occasions to spice up your looks!

• TIP #2: if you want to do a gradient lip makeup, use a Q-tip to smudge the tint from inside of your lips to the outside! I used to use my fingertips for this manouver but the tint doesn't come off from my skin so i had to go out with pink finger ends which looks really funny... xD

Both of them last for hours - although #2 Get The Eye fades into a really pastel, light pink colour, which is hard to notice on naturally pink lips. It won't come off from drinking or eating. But be careful, ice cream seems to be the no.1 and only one enemy! Somehow it acts like a perfect liptint remover lol

Periperi sells a tint remover just for this tint because it is hella hard to remove completelly! :D But this is a super positive feature of this product, the harder it is to remove, the better! ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ 

• TIP #3: use the power of nature to get rid of the stain! Try out different oils as makeup removers, like cold-pressed coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil which are perfect for skincare and makeup remover!
• TIP #4: try not to lick it from your lips because it's freaking bitter! But smells like fruits~!
