LAIKOU PROTECTION CUSHION CC CREAM review

Hello there everybody! ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿

For me, personally, cushions are the greatest inventions of the beauty world. And I can't be happier if I found a cushion with a lovely (=cheap) price~ Let's get this started because this review will be GOOD! ( ◞･౪･)

What is a CC cream?

According to my experiences, CC creams has less coverage, they focus more on the "natural" feeling and thus it will NOT cover huge imperfections and spots on the skin. Yet, it will make the skin glow and erase small flaws. To be more specific, CC stands for "colour correcting" (on the other hand, BB stands for "blemish balm") which also implies to the fact that this will "correct" your skin/skintone, rather than hide everything with a high coverage cream.

Every since I started my ebay hunt for cheap cushions I always came across this Laikou brand (let me tell ya, I ordered another cushion from them!) but this cushion CC cream was new, even for me! 

It has three shades, "Ivory Color", "Natural Color" and "Dark Skin Color" (<--- lmao this is a bit racist, but okayyyy) - I ordered "Natural Color" since even though I have fair skin, usually ivory colours are always closer to the actual white (I mean, white like chalk or clouds) colour than a shade of pale skintone... ( •́ .̫ •̀ )

As far as my limited Chinese knowledge knows, this is also a Chinese product, proven by the massive amount of Chinese text on the logo and the back of the product's box.

AWHHH MY, THE BOX IS ALREADY SO PRETTY, HOLOGRAPICH! (⁎⚈᷀᷁▿⚈᷀᷁⁎) My eyes love and live for this kind of light effect!

The sides has more Chinese text and I can actually see a warranty date, which is great! This is so far the first (cheap) product which has this kind of information on the box! Remember, folks, never use any product which has passed the warranty date! 

We can also see that this has 15 g CC cream inside, which is a basic amount in the world of cushions.

I didn't take pictures of the top and the bottom sides of the box since they have nothing or it states the brand name again.

When I opened the box I found this very thick silver foil kind of little bag, which protected the actual cushion. On this, you can read the number of your colour choice, in my case, number 2.

This is so beautiful! ✾(〜 ☌ω☌)〜✾  

I'm a simple person, I can be blown away by a white plastic round case with golden text on it... OTL BUT LOOK, IT ALSO HAS A GOLDEN DETAIL ALL AROUND THE OPENING OF THE LID! It is so prettyhhhh.... (◑‿◐✿) 

There is no other information about the product, only it's name once again. You can't even pop out the bottom of it to change a refill since this product does NOT have any refill! If you run out if it, you need to buy a whole new one again and again.

It is not a big cushion, just as big as my palm. The mirror inside is nothing extra either but perfect for it's purpose. The sponge has the brand name on it, the case opens and closes easily.

A basic sponge for us~ It spreads the products pretty well! 

 The CC cream inside is protected by a sticker "shield" - and it also keeps it fresh for the first use! It was so satisfying to peel if off xD

And ta-dah! There it is, the cream we all waited for! It is soaking in a sponge, and I'll be honest, the hole to the sponge is a bit small .___. Like, the sponge is huge next to this small hole thus it is kinda funny to reach the product bUT NOTHING CAN BE PERFECT, RIGHT? It still looks pretty neat and clean! At first I was afraid the colour will be too dark for me, but nah...

It is perfect! It is really creamy yet feels light, IT DOESN'T HAVE A STRONG SMELL but it stays sticky for a long time... (T v T) It doesn't claim to have sunblock or any kind of SPF protection either so make sure to use a sunblock before applying this cushion cc cream. 

BUT I REALLY LIKE THE FINISH IT GAVE TO MY SKIN! My whole complexion looks more healthy and radiant! Okay, it doesn't cover much but I love this kind of finish??? Idk why! At least my red areas and darker spots faded a lot and it looks like my skin is well hydrated! :D 

• It looks this glowy for a long time but after 5-6 hours it makes me look like an oily donut, so be aware of this matter! (｡≍ฺ‿ฺ≍ฺ) 
• It doesn't stick into my dry spots
• I've been using it for a month and it does NOT caused any breakout or other allergic reaction!
• I honestly don't know why it is named as "PROTECTION cushion" xDD What it is protecting me from? I wonder...
